What's even more impressive is that she beat out over 1,500 other AI models to take home the top prize. 📻 YouTube - A new AI-powered radio feature is being tried out for YouTube Music. The feature is still in testing, but it looks like it'll be a chat-based UI where you enter a simple prompt and it’ll generate a custom radio station based on your request. It's not available on all devices yet, but it’s interesting and at least a step in the right direction for YouTube Music.

📈 WIPO - According to a recent UN report, China is taking the lead in filing patents for GenAI inventions, by a significant margin. They’ve filed over 38,000 GenAI patents between 2014 and 2023, while the US filed around 6,276 during the same period. The top applicants included China's ByteDance (owner of TikTok) and IBM (creator of watsonx). The number of patents are expected to keep growing exponentially.

Tutorial of the Day

Recreate any image style quickly

Step 1:

First, head over to Leonardo AI.

You’ll need to sign up for an account and then log in.

Once inside, keep reading…

Step 2:

Next, look for the ‘Image Creation’ button at the top of the user interface.

Click on it and then wait for the prompt area to load.

You’ll then need to look for the AI button as shown in the image above and select it.

Go ahead and select ‘Describe with AI’ and you’ll come to a screen asking you to upload or select an image.

Upload the image you want to recreate, then ‘Confirm’, and Leonardo will generate a prompt describing that exact image.

Step 3:

Lastly, you only need to hit ‘Generate’ to recreate the image.

Sometimes, Leonardo won’t make exactly what you’re looking for the first time, but you can regenerate using the same prompt easily until you get what you’re after.
