Mind-Blowing AI of the Day

OpenAI DevDay just happened and with it came four major API announcements. First up is the Realtime API, allowing developers to build fast speech-to-speech experiences into their applications. Second, the fine-tuning API now lets devs fine-tune GPT-4o with images and text to improve vision capabilities. Next, prompt caching has been added in the API to reduce costs and latency. And lastly, is model distillation which lets developers use the outputs of frontier models to fine-tune and improve the performance of more cost-efficient models. While an official recording hasn’t been made public, one demo that really got a lot of attention was o1 building an iOS app with one prompt in less than 30 seconds.

Create Better Profile Photos

Step 1:

First, head over to Leonardo AI.

Create an account, log in, and keep reading…

Step 2:

Now, look for ‘Image Creation’ at the top of the page or in the side menu and click on it.

That’ll take you to the screen to enter your prompt.

Look for the image icon (you can see it in the image above showing the dropdown menu).

Click on the icon, select ‘Character Reference’, and upload your reference image.

Select your image and then set it to ‘High’ for the best results.

You can now enter your prompt and generate your profile photos.

This can b done with Midjourney as well using —cref URL with your prompt.

If you want to use Midjourney instead, read their guide and check out their examples.

Step 3:

Lastly, you’ll need to enter the prompt below changing everything in [brackets].

If you want a different image size or want to only generate two images rather than four, you can change those options in the left menu.

Enter this prompt, click ‘Generate’, and wait on your pro-level profile photos to generate.

[Man/Woman], [Age], Professional, Mood: [Serious,/Happy], Style: Headshot, Background: [Neutral/Black/White], Keep subject as the main focus of the image.
