🤔 OpenAI - According to a Bloomberg report, OpenAI is close to creating AI systems that can reason like humans. Experts are warning that this ‘very significant’ jump in AI capabilities could be a cause for concern. In an all-hands meeting on Tuesday, OpenAI shared a new five-level classification system for AI systems to mark progress toward AGI. But some experts think it's just hype.

🕵️‍♀️ AI Act - The EU's landmark AI Act has just been published in the official journal, kickstarting the countdown to legally binding deadlines. The law aims to regulate high-risk AI applications, prohibiting practices such as China-style social credit scoring, unwanted facial recognition, and abusive remote biometrics. Developers will need to get their codes of practice in line with EU standards within the next nine months, while high-risk AI systems will have to comply sooner, in 24 months.

Make your own custom brand logo for free

Step 1:

First, you’ll need ChatGPT and Ideogram for best results.

Head over to each and create an account if you don’t already have one.

Then, keep reading…

Step 2:

Next, you’ll need to access a custom GPT we created just for this tutorial.

You can start using it here: Brand Logo Creator

Once you’re there, it’s time to give the GPT your brand name.

You can do this in a couple of different ways.

1. No brand name - Ask ChatGPT to come up with brand names for your niche.

Please create 10 unique brand names for a healthcare brand. Give a description of each brand.

This is a very simple prompt. If you have additional details for the vision of your brand, add those in for a better response.

2. With brand name - Move on to Step 3.

At this point, you should have your brand name at minimum and a description for the brand is a plus.

Now it’s time to have ChatGPT create prompts for your logo by simply typing your brand name by itself or adding the description as well.

Create a logo for a [type] brand that [what brand does] named "[brand name]"

Make sure to change the company type, add your own description, and finally your brand name.

Step 3:

Lastly, all you have left is to create your logo.

If you wanted, you could pick a prompt you like and give it to ChatGPT, but it tends to create more unpolished logos than Ideogram.

That’s why we recommend Ideogram and you can generate up to 80 images per day before having to upgrade your account for more.

Simply head over to your Ideogram account, paste your logo prompts in, and click ‘Generate’.

You’ll get four images for each generation and can continue until you find one you like or run out of generations for the day.

Bonus Tip: If you find a logo you love, but it has imperfections, don’t fret. Use a tool like Canva or one of the many other online tools to remove the background, elements in the logo, or fix anything you want.
