🪖 China - China has released a video showcasing its rifle-equipped robot dogs, which can operate independently for 2-4 hours and are capable of reconnaissance, target identification, and firing machine guns. The video footage shows the robot dogs hopping, diving, and shooting targets, sparking concerns about the development of autonomous weapons.

🍎 Apple - Apple may announce a deal with Google to integrate its Gemini AI model with Apple devices, in addition to its existing deal with OpenAI. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple could announce the deal this fall, and may also consider a deal with Anthropic. This would expand Apple's AI offerings beyond ChatGPT and increase user choice. Apple is also working on its own AI system, Apple Intelligence.

📸 Instagram - Meta is replacing its "Made with AI" label with "AI info" after photographers complained that the label was being incorrectly applied to real-life photos. The label was intended to identify AI-generated content, but it was mistakenly tagging photos that had been edited using tools like Adobe Photoshop. The new label is designed to more accurately convey that the content may have been modified using AI tools, rather than being entirely AI-generated.

Chat with 53 Different AIs in One Place

Step 1:

First, head over to chat.lmsys.org

Once there, you'll notice a few different options:

• Arena (battle) - Chat anonymously with two different chatbots and vote for the best

• Arena (side-by-side) - Compare two different chatbots next to one another

• Direct Chat - Pick a chatbot to test out (Claude 3.5, Llama 3, Phi 3, GPT-4o, and more)

For today, we'll focus on Direct Chat.

Step 2:

Next, click on 'Direct Chat'

You'll see some text that reads '👇 Choose any model to chat'.

Directly beneath that text, it’ll most likely have 'claude-3-5-sonnet-20240620' selected.

All you have to do is click the dropdown menu and choose any chatbot you want to test and you're ready to go.

Step 3:

Lastly, enter your prompt just as you would in ChatGPT, Claude, or any other chatbot and hit 'Enter'.

Under the textbox, you'll notice you can upvote, downvote, flag, regenerate, or clear history.

Don't like the first response you received? Click 'Regenerate'.

Fun Fact: Before OpenAI released GPT-4o, the company tested it on this same site first. It was labeled 'im-a-good-gpt2-chatbot' and stumped many because it was much better than any other model at the time.
