Base44 – Your Personal AI Agent

Base44 just launched Superagents.

Not a chatbot. Not a copilot. Superagents that run on your behalf 24/7, handle the tasks you keep putting off, and live where you already work.

  • Scans your inbox overnight, drafts replies, and sends a WhatsApp summary at 7am with what it handled.

  • Follows up with leads automatically, monitors price drops, books reservations, or pulls weekly reports.

  • No servers. No setup. No Docker. Describe the job and it goes live.

They connect to Gmail, Google Calendar, Slack, WhatsApp, Telegram, your CRM, and more. All configured through conversation.

Breaking News

The Latest AI Developments

DoorDash launched Tasks, paying Dashers to photograph menus, check shelves, and record walkthroughs so businesses get real-time ground-level data at scale. The drivers are the data collection layer.

Anthropic shipped Channels for Claude Code, letting you control your session from Telegram or Discord. Cowork also added Projects on desktop. Both features bring Claude closer to the always-on agent workflow OpenClaw made popular.

Reports say OpenAI is working to combine all three into a single “Superapp” after an internal all-hands where leadership said fragmentation was slowing them down. No timeline has been given.

Today’s Spotlight

Bug reports buried in Slack. Fixes delayed. Back-and-forth stacking up.

Loom’s AI integration with Jira cuts that loop short. Record your screen, and Loom automatically generates a bug report and pushes it straight into Jira as a work item, no recap needed, no ticket writing, no meeting to explain what broke.

  • Move faster. Less time filing tickets means more time shipping fixes.

  • Skip the back-and-forth. Teammates get full context from the video, not a wall of text in Slack.

  • Record the bug once. Loom’s AI writes the summary, captures requirements, and creates the Jira task.

AI Finds

Beyond the Feed

Senator Bernie Sanders has a conversation with Claude about data harvesting, microtargeting, and pausing data centers.

Anthropic published the largest qualitative AI study ever, spanning 159 countries and 70 languages. Most people hold hope and fear about AI at the same time.

Cloudflare’s CEO says AI agents visit 1,000× more sites than a human doing the same task, and bot traffic will exceed human traffic within a year.

Interesting AI

There's a DIY camera kit on Google's website that runs neural networks on a Raspberry Pi, and most people don’t know about it.

The AIY Vision Kit is a cardboard-enclosed camera you assemble yourself with a Pi Zero and a camera module. Once built, it runs image classification and object detection entirely on-device with no cloud connection. It ships with a "Joy Detector" that recognizes facial expressions in real time. You add your own models or use Google's pre-trained ones.

The whole thing costs under $50 in parts, fits in your hand, and teaches you how on-device inference works from scratch. It's been quietly sitting on Google's site, but now you’re in the know.
